MiG-29 Brake Parachute



The MiG-29 Brake Parachute System is deployed by the pilot after touching the runway with the main wheels of the MiG-29 aircraft. A spring system deploys the auxiliary or pilot parachute which fills up and further extracts a single cruciform parachute which upon inflation reduce the length of the aircraft’s run along the runway. The color of the parachute can be single or a pattern of Olive Green, White, Red and Orange.
